White sauce Pasta
White Sauce Pasta is a yummy and rich delicacy that you could easily make at your home to impress your guests and yourself with no special ingredients. All you need is hungry stomach and little bit of passion to try something new!
INGREDIENTS
For cooking pasta
1. Pasta -3 cups
2. Vegetable oil -2 tsp
3. Water -6 cups
For White Sauce
1. Butter -2 tbsp
2. Garlic cloves-8 to 10 nos.(finely chopped)
3. All purpose flour/ maida - 2 tsp
4. Milk-2 cups
5.Salt to taste
6.Pepper powder-3/4 tsp
7. Chilli flakes- 3/4 tsp
For veggies
1. Small square shape cut carrots-1/2 cup
2. Corn- 1/4 cup
3. Small onion/shallots-4 to 5 nos cut in circles
4. Green peas-1/4 cup
5. Fresh beans or capcicum- 1/4 cup
6. Vegetable oil- 2 tsp
7. Salt to taste
We can do the process of making this yummy dish in 3 simple steps.
First step
Boil the water in a pan and add oil to it. When water comes to complete boil add pasta to it and cook for 8 to 9 mins. Drain off the excess water and let it cool
2nd step
Heat oil in a pan and add enough oil to it. Now 1st, add chopped onions, after 1min add carrots then capsicum, corn etc. Don't forget to add sufficient amount of salt as per your taste. Cook in high flame with constant stir. Switch off flame when veggies are crisp and cooked. Take care not to discolour your veggies. Keep them aside.
3rd step
Heat the same pan, put butter and add chopped garlic. Cook for 1min in high flame. Reduce the flame and add in the flour and mix immediately so as to avoid any lumps. Now pour 1 cup of milk and cook the flour sufficiently (when milk becomes think).add required amout of salt ,pepper powder and chilli falkes. Cook for a minute and then add in cooked veggies. After another 1 min add pasta. Mix everything in medium flame and switch off it.
Your yummy and hot pasta is ready to serve!
Cooking suggestions: you.can use any veggie if your choice if it suits the taste of white sauce. Also you can add fried/boiled chicken pieces(cooked with salt and pepper only) etc
